Review: The Wrong Costar

The Wrong Costar The Wrong Costar by Alexandra Moody
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spoilers? Possibility there’s spoilers listed!!

So okay! This book was as good as the first book. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I knew that both Teagan and Liam was going to end up falling for one another.

Not only that I felt that Teagan was mean to Liam and didn’t give him the chance to show her who he really was. She judged him based on what she saw on the blogs, news, magazines etc. She learn he was a nice person when he saved her from those guys who were fighting in front of her.

I was glad she stopped being mean to him. Because he wasn’t mean to her I think he was doing things to get attention from her. Plus, she had a stick up her behind because of what was going on with her mom.

When it comes to her mom I was glad that she talked some sense into her mother. & her mother finally figured out that she needed help. Not only her mother Liam finally sticking it to his mother. What I realize a lot of times teenagers and children who are thirteen and younger parents control their lives and also becomes money hungry when their child become a star (actress). I don’t even understand half the time why children or even teens look for their parents to become their managers. Half the time the parents can be evil and controlling. I was glad that it took what that director Jake?

Review: Just For A While

Just For A While Just For A While by Zøe Haslie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hmm pretty good!!!

••Spoilers, not that many, but a few•••

So when I first started this book it was kind of dulled in the beginning. But as I kept reading it got good. I was stuck between good and ehh. When it came to this book.

Was I disappointed in this book? No because it actually kept my attention. No one annoyed me in this book lol. I only thought that Charlie could’ve gave her father a chance in the beginning. But she was holding a grudge without even asking him his side. So many kids would love that. But at least in the end they ended up talking and she forgave him & wasn’t so mad anymore about what her mom told her about her father.

Plus; Misha was mean to Charlie, I was glad he was man enough to have a talk with her about why he did what he did. Because I felt that he shouldn’t have got mad at Charlotte because she kept Olivia being pregnant from him. When she was only looking out for Olivia. I glad when he understood that and actually went back to get his girl. Because he knew that Charlotte the one for him. Not only that I hope that Olivia and Misha mom comes around and become a better mother. Because that lady is horrible especially when it came to her husband vs her son smh

Review: The Goodbye Boyfriend: A Friends To Lovers Romance

The Goodbye Boyfriend: A Friends To Lovers Romance The Goodbye Boyfriend: A Friends To Lovers Romance by Christina Benjamin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book made me sad and happy I even laugh a couple times.

••Spoilers, ? Depends on my thoughts!!•••

I think that this book was the funniest and the the saddest. Because for one Cami knew that she was going to die. Even Nathan knew she was going to die in the end. That what made everything sad.

But what I liked was how Cami met him her last year of high school. He made her feel a lot of things that I was glad of. Because I felt like she shouldn’t want to kill herself because she didn’t want to live with cancer anymore.

The sad thing was she died from a heart attack. I knew when I read the end of that section in that chapter when Nate left her house to pick up his mom that she was going to die in her sleep. I felt it because the way her heart was doing, the good thing is at least she died happy and not sad. The sad thing is Nathan lost his true love.

But I think he’s going to find love again. As I said that he was reading Cami letters. I was glad she told him to continue to live, be happy and find love again. Towards the end well at the end. He met Zoe, and I hope that who he finds it in since she likes that same candy that Cami likes. I felt that Cami brought Zoe into Nathan life.

What I felt would’ve been nice was Nathan would’ve gotten a story with Zoe. At least.

Review: To the Only Boy I've Loved Before: A Sweet YA Romance

To the Only Boy I've Loved Before: A Sweet YA Romance To the Only Boy I've Loved Before: A Sweet YA Romance by Liwen Y. Ho
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***Spoilers just a little bit***

So I actually liked this book; same as I did the first one.

Also, I felt like Hannah was kind of harsh towards her brother Liam. For him being around Ava, and her not wanting Ava too be with him. I was glad he talked some sense into her because she would’ve ended up hurting both Ava and her brother Liam.

When I was reading this book and learning that Hope was adopted. I felt like Darren and Dianca could’ve adopted Ava. & turn out that is what happened In the end. When Ava adopted father put her out all because Liam brought her home and she was seeing him. He wasn’t complaining when Ava was bringing them eggs, taking care the kids though . But I was also glad that the other children got adopted too especially with what Liam saw in that window.

Not only that it was a good thing; that Liam and Ava worked things out with each other and started dating.

Besides that I can’t wait to read Max and Angel story because I can’t wait how Angel tame the playboy Max.

Review: The Almost Boyfriend

The Almost Boyfriend The Almost Boyfriend by Christina Benjamin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Enemies to lovers

••Spoilers? Maybe a lot, maybe a few, I’ll see once I finish this review•

Okay, before start on this book and what I felt about it. I want to say that I cannot stand the word “Grand” I know I ended up with a headache because Devon, kept saying it ALOT in the book. I wasn’t to much into the Ireland language (talk). I just hope that the other books to this series doesn’t have Ireland speaking. Because that “Grand” pluck my last nerve.

So anyways, besides that I thought the book was good. But I will say this, when I first started this book, it was boring, so I went to two other books, than went back to this book. When I went back and read this one. It turned out REALLY good. Though I thought Sam was kind of b*t*hy towards Devon in some ways. Even though he showed her in so many ways that he cared.

Even though he was mean to her when his father died. I still didn’t think she should’ve went to that pub. & the bad thing about it Zander wasn’t a bad person as Devon thought. It was just jealousy, I was glad that they worked it out with each other. Also, he worked it out with his step mom too which was good too. Since, he thought she was ONLY using his father. Which she wasn’t she actually cared about his father. Not only that she actually cared and worried about Devon too. But it took Zander to actually show him during the time at the pub when Sam got drugged by Sophie.

Who was I thought was trash and jealous of Sam for no reason. Sam wasn’t even thinking about her. Sophie was just jealous because Sam had Devon heart. Nobody told Sophie yo dumped Devon when he was off the team. When Sam comes around and Sophie learn that Devon was getting his father company she wanted him back. Then turn around and dumped Zander too. Who ends up with the company in the end she ain’t win nothing. Whereas everybody else did (Zander, Sam & Devon). I do hope that Zander do end up with Meghan that would be awesome.

I kind of forgot who Allie was for like 2.5 seconds when I started this book. Because I had read the first book with her best friend (Indie & her brother Grayson). Then I was like ooooh okay that’s who Allie is..

Omg! Like OMG! Not because the book is good. Even though it was good, but I am saying OMG because I finally finished it.

That Trina girl got on my last nerves. Like man, she was so annoying, kept pushing Mason away towards Polly. When both Mason and Polly told her (Trina) that they weren’t good for each other. Even Polly told Trina that she thought that Mason and she (Trina) was dating. But Trina was so much stuck on her stupid plan 🙄 that she couldn’t see past her plan and her parent's expectations of her. Like geez, girl gets a clue.

She couldn’t see past her own feelings for Mason. Even he show her how he felt with his confession about wanting to be with her. Not only that but with the kiss. Even mean Savannah even knew how Trina felt about Mason. She even told Trina (she loved Mason) it took Mandy to tell her the hard truth about her feelings for Mason for her to understand. During the day before her presentation smh 🤦🏽‍♀️.. Gosh this girl was annoying me because I was like girl if you don’t stop running....... 🏃‍♀️ from Mason... & he chase her 🏃 few times. The only time she felt some way was when he ignored her & when he was laughing and talking to Polly.

Oh, she was hurt and still delusional about Mason dating Polly when they weren’t dating at all. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ then after the win against that Silver Valley school. Trina still ran from Mason, and he had to chase her again. I was so annoyed that is when I was over the book, chapter twenty-five had me irritated because she kept denying his feeling and her own feelings. Until after the fact. She realizes she shouldn’t be a freaking idiot and kissed him and ran off until the sunset ugh!!

Besides that LORD I hope Mandy don’t be this annoying in her book with whatever guy she is going to catch feelings for.... the guy is “Jayden Paul”...

Review: Brutal Prince

Brutal Prince Brutal Prince by Logan Fox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

He wasn’t that brutal his best friend hmm?

**Spoilers*** few here and there**

Okay one I like to state is that dang I feel bad for Addy. She didn’t had to die at the hands of Marcus. He rapped and and what it looked like he strangled her or choked her with a belt. Poor girl. Bad enough he killed Jessica too and raped her. Addison best friend and Briar girlfriend at the time.

What was messed up about Jessica was Briar and everybody including his dad thinking that he (Briar) was a rapist. But as I was reading this book. I was like Briar can’t be a rapist, for some reason I kept thinking that. But also mentioned how Marcus = Murder. Briar = rapist. But what I thought in my mind. & what came true in this book was everything lead to Marcus. He was the rapist and murder. It was something that had me like “I think Marcus was the one who killed Indi mom and raped/murder Jessica. Especially with Indi mom... when they couldn’t find any finger prints I was like YEAH that had to be Marcus..

I now remember what had me thinking it was him. When he mentioned to Briar. That Indi looked familiar. A lot of things Briar never taken notice. But his dad took notice of a lot of things that Briar didn’t. Heck not even Indi or Addy knew that something was up with Marcus. I felt something was wrong with Marcus.

It took for Briar dad to talk to him at Angels Fall where I think

Review: The Quarterback and the Ballerina

The Quarterback and the Ballerina The Quarterback and the Ballerina by Anne-Marie Meyer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Really good book. I can tell this series will be that of football players and ballerinas

Spoilers... splash throughout

This book was good. Didn’t take me long to finish. One thing I’m trying to figure out what to say about this book lol. Some how I can’t think of anything for some reason. Though, I am always writing a review, for my blog!

But anyway, I would like to point out that Collette was kind of whiny and complain a lot about everything. Especially, when it came her dancing. Everybody saw how great she was except herself. I was kind of glad Bianca even told her about herself. Even when Bianca was mean at some point. You can tell that Collette dealt with body shame from everybody. And she had that stuck in her head so much she couldn’t see it until Ethan came along.

As I was reading this book, I was like uhh. There a skinny, fat, medium, between, dancers. No matter what size there are skinny and thick, big female dancers. I was glad that Collette saw that in the end. Especially her mother who needed to see that too. Since, she put that in her head and made her own daughter have doubts. About her dancing, had her thinking only skinny females care better.

Besides, that I can’t wait to read Ryan and Bianca story. And learn about what is going on with her. I can tell she was dealing with a lot. Plus, I think she may have been sort of jealous of Collette too. Ryan is the one that going to change Bianca I can tell... and she is the one to slow Ryan down too.

P.s. At least Ethan, stick it to his dad after what happened after his performance with Ryan band. Because his dad needed to hear what Ethan told him and show him that he didn’t want to be who his father wanted him to be. I think a lot of children growing up need to be themselves and stop trying to be what they parents want them to be. Especially if that’s not what they want. I think this book shows and proves that you can stick it to your parents. and follow you dreams. Ethan proved that to his dad. Because his dad needed to be knocked down a couple inches.

Review: The Best Man Wins: A Steamy Romantic Comedy

The Best Man Wins: A Steamy Romantic Comedy The Best Man Wins: A Steamy Romantic Comedy by Adora Crooks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Best Man Wins = love

Spoilers? Possibly yes?!

I wasn’t so sure about this book because of how it started. It started off a little dry until I got a few chapters in that’s where it got good. I was glad. Because the book description caught my attention and I wanted to read it, because of the description and title.

This book was base solely on Braxton and Susie. Though everything revolve around Braxton sister Cora and her fiancée Ray.

I was glad that Susie found ways for Braxton to not ruin his sister wedding though she (Susie) had Mandy to worry about too. Not only that the day before the wedding the bride (Cora) wasn’t so sure what she wanted to do. I was glad that Susie talked some since into her and got her to understand she actually did and do care for Ray and vise versa.

She also got Braxton on board with his sister getting married. He didn’t hate Ray after what Susie said at the diner to both he and Cora. Which both needed to here. Though I also thought Susie ex-boyfriend/fiancée was horrible. Trying to get her back after he walk out on her. I was glad that she left him for the wolves to show him that she moved on to something better. Since he thought he could get her back but ended up looking like a fool when she gotten Braxton out of jail and left him.

Not only that I was glad that Letty lady didn’t fired Susie because regardless she still did a good job at that wedding and everything went well. Even if she wasn’t there. I think nothing wouldn’t have gone to plan because I think both Braxton and Cora needed her there and would’ve definitely wonder and went looking for her. Since Cora didn’t look so much at Thom or that other chick I can’t remember her name for some reason

Hatemates Hatemates by Mickey Miller
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hatemates = love mates

Spoilers? Yes!!!

I really liked this book it was really good!!!! So anyways, it was crazy how the guy wouldn’t change Alex room. But also a good thing because she had dorm room instead of living in those hotels/motels. Where men ask her do she wants drugs. I think both Alex and DJ was both good for each other.

Plus his parents definitely needed that divorced because his father was a horrible man. Especially when he went behind his back and smashed his own son ex-girlfriend. Not only that Jessica (DJ ex-girlfriend) wasn’t no better because she was chasing him and trying to get back with him. Plus threatening Alex about DJ but the whole time she was smashing his daddy. Just nasty

•••not many spoilers, but some are there•••

The ending was cute.

What I realize is that Cabin of his draw more problems than anything lol. I am wondering what guy is next from the team! & what women about to change him for the better.

I was glad they got Olivia. That lady was definitely crazy and needed some serious help. Even her brother thought she needed it. I kept thinking it was going to be her brother Mike who turn her in because he knew she wasn’t right in the head.

You could tell she was off her knockers (e.g, her mind wasn’t all the way there; and have a problem of a psycho). Smh

Soooo! I keep thinking I read this book or read a book similar to this. Because of what happened at Cohl masquerade party. I don’t know it’s similar in so many ways. But tiny bit different.

Other than that. I thought Hannah was an idiot. She was one smart cookie but dumb as heck. I mean clearly she didn’t understand or see anything that Cody was trying to tell her. Smh

Review: Stuck in the Closet

Stuck in the Closet Stuck in the Closet by Jay Argent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was so good

***Spoilers*** splash here& there***

I felt so bad for Kevin like that boy couldn’t catch a break. To me Lucas has it made more than Kevin. Someone always giving him ****.. just because he’s gay. Like the boy been hiding his true self for awhile and was scared of what might happen.

First it started with Joshua. He is just horrible and have an obsession with Lucas. & the thing is Lucas don’t care for him at all. Especially after what he did to Kevin and his (Lucas) relationship. When he blackmailed Kevin... Joshua still lost that bet I was glad he did. To me I think he still was helping Kevin mom. Especially when he mentions social services and they was at Lucas parents how after school!

Besides that Kevin parents especially his mom is just as horrible as Joshua. Even though Joshua is a bully... not understanding outting someone is so hurtful. Kevin mom is very evil like she didn’t care about her son feelings. All she did was push Hailey on him. Or ask him about a girlfriend. Not realizing her son was hurting inside from what he was keeping to himself. & what made things worse was Joshua outting him to his mom. & thinking it’s funny.

I was glad when Lucas didn’t give in to Joshua at his house. On top of that went and got his boyfriend from his (Kevin) father.

Then the bad thing after reading the end I see that Lucas brother about to give Kevin **** next. Like Jorge needs to get him a life he one bitter man that thinks it’s okay to bully someone who gay. I just hope Lucas parent and Lucas has Kevin back while living in the house while Jorge around.

I also cant wait for the next book to this series to come out. Because I am now curious about what evil homophobic Jorge has to say., I am hoping Kevin get his happy ending soon. Because that boy can’t catch a break...

Review: Time for Goodbyes

Time for Goodbyes Time for Goodbyes by Jay Argent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was good!!!!!

***Spoilers? Eh maybe?

So okay! This book was definitely good. It was crazy how Lucas brother Jorge treated him and his parents doesn’t get on his brother for anything he does. Not only that Conner was mean to Lucas too; but he wasn’t as mean as Dominic was to Lucas even Kevin sometimes. Dominic is a horrible person in my opinion because he made things hard for Conner too; and Conner kept blaming Lucas for everything that was happening! It took for him to see his best friend Kevin kissing Lucas for Conner to accept Lucas as being gay. Since Kevin finally admitted that he was gay... Conner wanted his friend regardless of him being gay...

It’s crazy how Dominic looked at Conner in a way. But I was glad when Conner push Dominic away from Lucas when they were fighting by the locker. You look at it Dominic was the only one besides Conner who has a problem with gay people (e.g. Lucas, now Kevin). Conner finally accepted that Lucas is gay, because of who his best friend is “Kevin”.

Which, I was glad for, because it took Conner along time understand that their coach wanted him to apologize to Lucas about what he said about him. I was glad he did because it sucked that he got kicked off the team because of Dominic provoking him to say those bad things about Lucas.

Besides that I was glad Conner got back on the team.

Plus; that ending has me curious about that basketball player. I think he’s about to make havoc in Lucas... especially Kevin life. I hope Kevin don’t let that guy mess his relationship up with Lucas. That would suck. Not only that I was also glad that he talk to Hailey and she understood why his feelings wasn’t there for anymore.
