Review: Her Lost Daughter

Her Lost Daughter Her Lost Daughter by Raven Rivers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was a good read. Definitely have some irritating people in it.

Spoilers....thrown here and there throughout this review....

Okay so this book was so good. But I want to say that her ex Mike was horrible for sitting and watching Shannon get kidnapped by Evans. Like what in the world. Like who does that. Then sit and call her after he learn of her escaping ask about coming back from where she came from like she went on vacation or something. Which was just crazy.

Top of that Shannon have to deal with these horrible men to even teenage young boys. If someone sit and does or say things as a teen to their early 20s you should already what type of person they are going to turn out to be.

Lord don’t get me started on Erin husband, Richard. Smh

Review: Her Adopted Baby That Came With Hidden Secrets

Her Adopted Baby That Came With Hidden Secrets Her Adopted Baby That Came With Hidden Secrets by Justeen Jones
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was pretty good

Spoilers... thrown throughout this review....

This the second book that I’ve read by Justeen Jones. I can say I wasn’t disappointed. But, I definitely thought a bomb was about to drop (meaning; Jonas was going to start some SHHHH) like the other girl Leigh in the last book I read.

But he didn’t lol; he ONLY was upset because Damion came into Nicole and Macy life. I had to roll my eyes, because for one he should’ve known that eventually someone was going to come into Nicole and Macy life and want a family. Instead he waited to long to pull a move on Nicole. Got mad because Damion got in her pants (as he says). I had to SMH, because I knew he wanted it to be him.

I was glad when he finally came around and realize that Damion wasn’t a issue; that he wasn’t going to hurt Macy as he assume he was due to his jealousy. One thing I do like to point out was after Nicole birthday party; I think the noise that both her and Damion heard while they were kissing wasn’t Macy. I think it was Jonas probably. Because I think he came back, thinking everybody left. Not sure if Nicole, locked her door or not. But Jonas definitely came in the next day, like a tornado

Saved By The Fireman's Big Hose Saved By The Fireman's Big Hose by Justeen Jones, BWWM Love
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Definitely enjoyed this book had to get back into interracial reading

Spoilers....thrown throughout this book.

I’m going to say this I already knew something was up with that Leigh girl. Especially when it came to her brother Travis. Both are some weird individuals. But I dang sure was GLAD when Travis... didn’t agree to letting things slide with they finally got caught in the act.... for the third time with the third fire he started. He actually told the reasons behind why he did it.

The first fire with Annie and Danny - Luke wife and son. Was because of his psycho a$$ sister smh

Review: Backup Plan

Backup Plan Backup Plan by Emily Goodwin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

...SPOILERS THROWN HERE AND THERE THROUGH THIS REVIEW...

OMG bruhhhh! I am so disappointed the way this book ended lol ugh;; now I can’t wait for book two “Desperate times” to come out in October.

I actually liked this book. It was interesting. I can say it did took them a minute to understand that they both wanted each other even from when they both was teenagers to both of them being a adult.

But Lord; ish about to hit the fan in book two of its about Sam and Chloe. I know it’s about them by how this book ended. Chloë finna act irrational. I think that’s the word I’m looking for especially if girl “Stacey” is pregnant. Poor Sam; he finally got the girl and here come Stacey I knew there relationship wasn’t going to end to good lmao some drama was about to show up.

But I kept thinking that maybe Sam was going to adopt the little five year old boy. That was had trauma and was in a coma.

Through all of that his Sam family knew that Chloe was right for him. Hope he doesn’t mess it up. But in my mind it’s going to be Chloe that’s going to RUN probably. Though she had told Sam to talk to Stacey. So I don’t know what’s going to happen in the end. But cannot wait to find out.

Because I actually liked this book and wasn’t disappointed at all. I read this like in a day or three.

Review: Perfectly You

Perfectly You Perfectly You by Robin Daniels
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Perfectly you... good read...

**Spoilers. Possibly a few***

Sooo I can understand in some ways why Andy was mad at Ivy for what she did by trying to change him. Because it can make the person you trying to change mad especially when you are dating that said... person or best friends with that person.

I was glad that Lily told Ivy about herself when it came to Andrew. Plus, I was sort of irritated that Andrew diss Ivy like that at Sophia party. Then didn’t call or anything. Especially when it came to the auction for the school. Then finding out that he wasn’t mad anymore but it was some of Sophia doing.

If you realize something ... when Sophia came towards Ivy in the backstage or wherever she was at and said what she said. That is what she had planned. In the end; I was glad that Andy came to Ivy to fix his relationship because I was irritated by him. Because you could tell that he hurt her not once but twice.

But should’ve known Sophia was dirty. Even Rob was no good. I would’ve love to see what Jake had to say to his sister though. I know that would’ve been good too. Plus; I know Rob probably. Noo, I know he felt some type of way when Sophia bet at that auction for Andy. More likely he probably was jealous of Andy any ways. Plus; Sophia didn’t want Andy to me I think she only did that because of Ivy.

I liked Jake and Lily together especially with they both pretending that they didn’t like each other but actually did. But what was priceless was every time Jake made his sister mad; and Lily slapping her was once of the best parts in this book. Because I could tell Sophia deserves it. Especially with the crap she said about Lily...

Review: Curvy Girls Can't Date Quarterbacks

Curvy Girls Can't Date Quarterbacks Curvy Girls Can't Date Quarterbacks by Kelsie Stelting
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spoilers throughout this *****+review***+

I was definitely curious about this book and what would happen.

I will say this I didn’t like that Rory got picked on for her size. But reading this I already know that people sometimes are jealous of you and it’s not your size it’s the person you are. That person who bully’s you only try to make themselves feel better.

It didn’t matter that Rory was a big girl. Because I know that even if you are Big or Small you will get talked about. Skinny females get talked about being to skinny and need to eat whereas bigger women get talk about being fat and needing to lose weight.

What I come to realize is that I’ve come to read books on bigger girls getting bully by smaller girls. When in reality In real life it’s actually the opposite. It’s smaller girls getting y’all down on by someone bigger than them. I just wish that was talked about more in books rather than only one figure.

So with that being said. I did like how Beckett didn’t care about the size of Rory and how much she weight. I liked that because I felt that he saw something in her that she didn’t see. I was glad that she finally figure out that she was beautiful no matter what size she is because regardless of her being a big girl she still will get LOVED by someone.

I felted like her mother didn’t help her at all. Her mom put those insecurities inside of Rory for the most part. Especially when trying to make her dieted and bringing things or doing things in front of other people. To make Rory embarrassed I felt bad for her when it came to her mom. I was glad when she told her mom off and let her understand how she felt when it came to her controlling ways.

Plus; with the other girls Zara, Callie, Ginger and Jordan. I was with Rory on that those girls dissed her and didn’t give her a chance at all. They just thrown her away. Just because they assume that she didn’t want to there friend no more. I mean clearly; she shown them that she still wanted to be friends. But they didn’t see it until after the assembly where she apologized to Beckett.

I knew in the end that they all was going to forgive each other. Because all five of them thought the same thing of each other. Which was ridiculous all they had to do was TALK. Smh!

With Beckett I was glad he forgave Rory and stop being mean to her just because of something Merritt did. I still say she to blame because she a horrible person. But Rory knew she was wrong too. Not only that Carson even had something to do with what was going on. But I’m just glad things worked out. I wish I could’ve seen (read) Merritt face when Beckett forgave Rory and got back wit her.

Also; liked The bonus scene with Beckett telling his dad how he didn’t want to do College football but go to college for photography. I liked that because he trash talked Rory for lying but he was lying to himself and his dad and kept secrets.

Plus; I can’t wait to read Jordan and Kai story I know it’s going to be interesting. Plus; I hope when Callie get her book; I hope she ends up with Carson because it’s something there with them. If not that’ll be disappointing and if they don’t end up together. I wonder will there friendship be the same.

Review: My Bully's Dad The Forbidden Fun Series

My Bully's Dad The Forbidden Fun Series My Bully's Dad The Forbidden Fun Series by Cassandra Dee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

••• Spoilers just a few of them•••

Hmm let’s see I’ve been seeing books by Cassandra Dee. In my email; I was like I want to READ these books. They sounded so interesting. My Bully’s Dad was one of them; I was trying to figure out how am I going to get this book, because it’s definitely wasn’t on Amazon if it was I couldn’t find it. But iBooks have them.

I was glad I got a chance to read it because this had me curious and I was wondering would Samatha find out that her dad was smashing the girl that she once bullied. I did guess that Sam was going through something especially for her to throw that sandwich in Tilly like that which was uncalled for.

Which probably wasn’t shocking for me was learning that Rob (Sam ex and Tilly and Nicole) bully actually started talking (dating) Nicole. I said to myself all along Rob probably had a thing for Nicole when they were in school but he was one of the popular kids but was to chicken shit to ask Nicole out. It took him to leave and go to college for him to be brave.

Not only that Sam dad Mike put not one but two babies in Tilly. But at least Sam and Tilly parents was accepting of their relationship I did wonder if Sam dad was in his early 30s or not!!!

Review: Off Limits: The Scrooge

Off Limits: The Scrooge Off Limits: The Scrooge by Kat Bellemore
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Good read.....

***Spoilers. Thrown here and there***

This is the third book to this series. Glad I gotten around to reading. I think that it’s actually good. I’ve read book 2, 4 and now 3 so far in this series. I do have to read book 1. I’ll read that soon enough!

So with that being said.... I just didn’t understand what Cameron had against rich people especially Amanda when he didn’t know what happened or what she been through when she lost her dad. Her mom had to be the one to go to work to make sure Amanda was good even though they both was grieving for the lost of her dad and her mom husband.

I liked the fact that Cameron mom understood that and not only that Cameron dad explain to Cam the reason behind his statement he mad. About the guy who laid him off or whatever. & not Amanda mom. He should’ve known that Amanda and her mom wasn’t bad people. I was glad he realizes that about her and figured it out and apologize to Amanda.

Not only that Amanda understanding the way that Cameron felt. But you could tell Cam did things that got himself in trouble because of what he didn’t have. But learning that the prank wasn’t for the drama team but actually for Blair brother was good to know.

Off Limits: The Smarty-Pants Off Limits: The Smarty-Pants by Kat Bellemore

Good

Spoilers....just a few.

I finally gotten around to reading the second book to this series. I know I read like the fourth book. I believe to this series. I know I am kind of out of order when it comes to this series. But regardless of out of order I am, I still think that this book is good.

Not only that I felt that Gracie and Mark was right for each other. Never thought that Mark was a nerd... I thought he was a different type. But felt that he was different and right for Gracie and she to him. Plus; I felt that he definitely needed to talk to his dad. About what he wanted out of life. Not only that, it helped so much when it came to telling his father. He finally knew what is dad felt and why his mom and dad broken up.

Plus I see that he went to MIT. I kind of forgot he was in college. Because book four wasn’t based on him and Gracie but on there other friend Sandra and the principal son Blair...

I thought that Braden was a idiot half the time when it came to situations with Stella. He literally was fool when it came to his ex girlfriend Michelle and his best friend Jesse. Smh

My High School Rebel Boyfriend: A Sweet YA Enemies to Lovers Romance (Boyfriend Series My High School Rebel Boyfriend: A Sweet YA Enemies to Lovers Romance (Boyfriend Series by Kylie Key
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Good read

Spoilers, thrown out throughout this review...

I was curious about this book how it was going to be. It was actually good. Was it different yes; I felt like Mitch and Harper was made for each other because they both was dealing with something that was in their life. Harper with her diabetes and Mitch with his stepfather abuse and his mother arthritis..

Only problem with this book I had was the repeat of Harper diabetes and what she had to do to keep herself good. I was like that was to much (not about the diabetes) but the repeats of it. I’m not wording it right; but I felt I understood her situation and felt like the food intake etc didn’t need a repeat in every chapter.

What I did felt bad about what Mitch and his friends did with her foods. They didn’t save any for her. I felt like you don’t go in someone bag. When you don’t know if there’s a reason why that person may have things in there bag. Dude to their health. I was waiting on Mitch to get a clue on how he been treating her. After her diabetes scare.., he got himself together and realize that he shouldn’t be mean to her.

I felt like he always carried out a attitude towards people, because of what went on at home. I was glad that he had Harper in his life. Because I felt like MAYBE his stepdad would get a clue; I just wish that Harper could’ve told her parents at least about Mitch and his abuse..

But she wanted to keep his secret; and see if his stepfather Wade would change. Also I think with the training, his mom probably would move around more. Harper to me brought LIGHT into Mitch family because no one seem happy until Harper popped up.

Review: Don't Kiss the Class Clown

Don't Kiss the Class Clown Don't Kiss the Class Clown by Sally Henson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Spoilers. Not likely but it’ll probably be a few splash throughout!!!

I’m going to say this ..... hmm this book was okay. I wasn’t really into it. Took me awhile to finish it because I stop and read another book which was boring then on top of that read any other book that was good. Then went back to this one. It was good; but after awhile I got bored with it and was over reading it.

I just glad that Ally came to her senses but that was after the second accident she had when it came to gymnastics. I was glad she also apologize to Ryan because she was clearly mean to him. When he was actually nice to her and was trying to help her.

But it had to take her “Ally” to learn from her mistakes especially when she over did herself when it came to gymnastics.

Review: Never a Saint

Never a Saint Never a Saint by Lila Rose
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spoilers. Thrown around...

I’ve been waiting to read this book, ever since I learn that it’s going to be a book 2 with Kylo and just knew in my mind that it was going to be Saint that Kylo was going to end up with and damn if I wasn’t right with my theory. This lead to to this:

I’m thinking that West “Client” is Death or Torch because they are popping up to much much in this book. Especially Death. I’m leaning more towards him. Because he seems like he keeps stuff to himself when it comes to a relationship or smashing someone.

Just as my theory for Saint and Kylo I’m thinking it’s between Torch or Death when it comes to West. But more so Death. I can’t wait for book three to come out because oh I am soooo curious... but I wonder who Mr. Hail is... guesss I’ll find out next year when West book comes out because something is definitely up. But I thought sure he’ll end up with a biker.

Next year can’t come fast enough lol wish his book could come early lol. Oh well; all I can say I definitely enjoyed this book I actually read it in one day since I wouldn’t count the early morning since i finish around 3am ish.

I been saying all along that it was Zion in my mind I was like it’s no way that it was West went I was reading the ending of Wreck and Lucas story when everyone was helping them move in and Kylo dropped the box clearly you wouldn’t known why Kylo dropped the book. He drop the box after hearing about the date that Zion had going on by his mom. But in book with Lucas I wouldn’t have known anything went down with Saint and Kylo like never would’ve known.

That did surprise me with finding out something happened way before Lucas and Wreck moved together. Not only that Kylo parents were horrible people. Especially his father he was a bad man from killing Samantha (his wife; Kylo mom) I felt bad for her because at least she did care about Kylo in her own way. Especially when trying to stop Henry dusty self from harming Kylo in the end he still did. But in the end Kylo got the last laugh when they found Henry and he killed him. I mans he did deserved it for what he did. Including calling him all of those names and begging for forgiveness along with not wanting to go to jail etc.

I was like he preaching to the choir. Ain’t nobody listening.

Kylo and Saint definitely wasnt listening in the end they ended up moving together. It’s also interesting enough to learn that Saint gave himself to Kylo also. Kylo MC name was interspersed I mean “Gun” suited him because of what he did when he came to Zion when he got shot....
