Review: Cruel Hearts

Cruel Hearts Cruel Hearts by Sofia Daniel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Pretty good!!!!

•••Spoilers.... here and there•••

Wow this crazy like all of this that went down. That Elizabeth girl will go to the end just to get rid of Lilah. She hate her so much that she wants to kill her and to top that off her own mother is trying to kill her too.

It sucks that we as readers have to wait until next year just to get the third book to this series. Like REALLY? I’m a forget what is going on by time the new year comes around.

Not only that I hoped that the guys Orlando, Kendrick and Maxwell is actually there for Delilah and not trying to use her or do bad things to her like they tired before. Beside that I also hope that at least Maxwell pop up out of nowhere to check on Lilah like he normally does. Especially when it comes to her getting shot at....

Besides that it’s not much I want to say when it comes to this book.

Spoilers. A splash here and there

Wow, this book wasn’t that bad as others I read but dang. That chick Elizabeth is just horrible, and the thing is... Maxwell, Kendrick, and Orlando. It is just a horrible like ugh!!!

Lilah knew all along that all three of the guys were gunning for her. But they got her when her ex Sammy and her step-father Billy popped up at that fashion thing! The crazy thing was I for sure thought it was Kendrick who was looking out for her. Smh

Review: The Stand-In Boyfriend

The Stand-In Boyfriend The Stand-In Boyfriend by Christina Benjamin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Pretty good read; had me not wanting to stop reading!

***Spoilers; splash here and there***

This book was really good. I figure her best friend, Caroline was trash and really didn’t care about Beth. Even Parker didn’t like Caroline, he probably figured that something, wasn’t right with her. He even didn’t like Jared for personal reasons but he knew that Jared was trash.

I was glad when Beth figured out that both Caroline and Jared wasn’t good people in her life. I mean Jared even shown proof of that after the accident that Beth was in.... he came to the hospital to talk smack to Parker, and stated how he was going to get Beth back. Like boy no, your garbage. I was like that Beth woke up and heard everything that was said. And dismissed Jared from her life for good.

She even dismissed Caroline when Caroline blown her phone up with text messages. Beth figured things out when it came to Parker and his feelings and her own feelings. At first she push him away, but after talking to her sister & then the accident where he saved her she knew that Parker was meant for her. He may have been a “Stand-In” boyfriend as everyone stated but he was perfect boyfriend for her.

Review: The Holiday Boyfriend: A Second Chance Christmas Romance

The Holiday Boyfriend: A Second Chance Christmas Romance The Holiday Boyfriend: A Second Chance Christmas Romance by Christina Benjamin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holiday Boyfriend

Spoiler.. thrown here and there

Wow I didn’t not know that this book was going to end like that. Wow! I was confused!

But I can say this, this book wasn’t a disappointment. It was actually a good read. I liked the story!

I thought it was cute, but also thought that Emma was kind of mean towards Will didn’t give him enough credit, when it came to his feelings and when it came to Liz. She was always quick to assume things instead of thinking things through and asking questions.

I was glad she realize her feelings for Will instead of running away from him always. She realize that he didn’t fool around or lost his V-Card to Liz when she heard Will blast Liz out at the rooftop Christmas party. I was glad she heard it because it shows her who Will truly was and that he didn’t change.

Also, she knew she was wrong to run away from issues, especially when it came to her father and standing Will up at the dance.

I was also glad she had a talk with her father and realize he actually still loved her and wanted her around. Even her mother knew everything, and Emma assume her mother was still hurting. But the talk with her father made her understand a lot of things and even got her to like Tara which turn out to be good. She gotten a brother out of the deal which she learned to love and become close too. Not only that she had another brother on the way.

A lot of things she had to thank Will for because he help her through a lot when it came to her family and even Will. & she also help Will have a good family Christmas and even Colin her step-brother ended up with the best Christmas ever.

Review: My High School Fake Boyfriend

My High School Fake Boyfriend My High School Fake Boyfriend by Kylie Key
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spoilers.. thrown here and there in this review...

I clearly I read this book in like one day. Though I finish it at 1am close to 2am... this book I definitely liked it. It was different, especially when it came to Peyton not knowing about being a FAKE date for Mattie.

I felt bad for him, only reason he found out was because of Josh. Though I think Josh was hating on him. & wanted to make him feel bad about himself and have him thinking Mattie didn’t like him. Only wanted to use him to make “Josh” jealous.

When that is the TRUTH of it all. But Mattie ended up falling in like with Peyton at the homecoming dance. She didn’t care about Josh after that it was more so about Peyton. Even when she gotten her phone taken away from her she was trying to find him. But what ends up happening was Peyton finding out the truth from her best friend Bella.

I understood why Bella told Peyton, I would’ve too. I did felt bad for him. I also thought, 9/10 he probably was a handsome boy even though he had the “port wine birthmark” from birth. People can be harsh and mean. I understood how he was kind of hesitant about certain things that was happening.

I also know his dad going to like him since Peyton a Bears fan..

Dating: For the Assist: A Sweet YA Best Friend's Brother Romance Dating: For the Assist: A Sweet YA Best Friend's Brother Romance by Stephanie Street
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spoilers...just a few****••...

I wasn’t expecting this book to go into five years later. It was very interesting to read. Learning each and every one of the guys and the girls grown up to become an adult. To Luke and his twin Piper learning about who their real father is. I don’t know why I think it was KARMA. It would be me of me to say that about their dad (Michael) who went into the army. But he did fool around with Bella aka Lily behind his twin brother (Robert) back.

Review: The Enemy Hypothesis

The Enemy Hypothesis The Enemy Hypothesis by Amy Sparling
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Xx this book was pretty awesome, short but good!!!!!

Spoilers... not really. But maybe a few**

Okay, so I’ve been waiting on this book to come out. I kind of forgot who Abby was since the author. Took awhile to put this book out., I actually forgot how book one went lmao.

But with book two I wasn’t disappointed at all. Especially when coming from a book that was so boring made my head hurt.

With this book, I thought Abby was kind of mean to Mark. Though I understood why she acted the way she acted. She wasn’t sure if he was playing a joke on her when he kept asking her out. They both were competing against each other. In the competition. So that’s understandable. But you could tell that Mark didn’t want to win anymore, he wanted Abby to win more than he did.

He showed proof when he won, when he told the people that he wanted to give his win to Abby. Before Abby learned what he did, I mean she was BIG MAD I doubt she would’ve congratulated him if he didn’t decide on Abby needed the win more than him. Clearly, she hated him for that win, but they worked things out once she realize he wasn’t a jerk. And picked the Red Jeep that Abby wanted, so he could give it to her.

I thought it was actually cute of him to do that for him. Especially since he liked her and vise versa.

Besides, that I can’t wait until the next book comes out. I am definitely going to be looking out for “The Theory of the Boy Next Door”.. especially learning who the girl and boy might be. I can’t even put my finger on who it might be at all.

Review: Being Brooke

Being Brooke Being Brooke by Emma Hart
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ehhh it was ok

**Spoilers. I don’t know if it will be*** but maybe a few••**

I’m going to say this, this review may be short because I don’t really have much to say. If it end up longer then I have something to say.

But I am going to say this, this book was sooo boring, I started it back in January and decided to finish it this month ugh! But it was still not that interesting.

& the thing is I’ve read other books by Emma Hart, that wasn’t like this book, this book I had to skip a couple pages when I got to chapter twenty. Because I didn’t care... I just wanted to finish it... & I did. At least I know what happened in the end.

Not only that, I thought Brooke was a little annoying, because she kept holding on to her feelings and not saying anything it took her way to long. Even after her best friend Cain kissed her she still was in denial about her feelings and even his. Like girl it was a REASON behind that kiss. Even Cain brothers told her that Cain was always in love with her.

Heck, Cain ex girlfriend Nina knew that something was there with both Brooke and Cain. End the end I was glad that they both figured things out and started dating. & Brooke figuring out what she wanted out of her life. Even though she was a disaster of a girl.

P.S. so I want to read book two with Carly and Zeke. What I will say is I pray and hope that it is shorter if not shorter but way better and more interesting than this one with Brooke. I am hoping that book two is a banger. Because I really want to read that book, same way I wanted to read this one, but UGH!!!!!

Review: Something New

Something New Something New by Amanda Abram
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was definitely something new going on even something BETTER!!

Will there be spoilers? Maybe who knows until this review is written.

Okay I would like to start off and say that Elijah was trash for thinking that Cassie was going to take him back so fast. Not only that make things into a joke, especially when he didn’t run behind Cassie when he was caught kissing his ex girlfriend Hannah. It was Dylan who chased Cassie. Not only that it was other situations between he and Cassie that he didn’t run behind her. It was always Dylan who did.

I couldn’t understand how he thought nothing was going to become of their (Cassie and Dylan) relationship. Especially when they were always together and looking out for each other.

What made it worse he didn’t want Cassie like he thought he did. For him to ruin his friendship and get mad at both Dylan and Cassie was a waste of time. Because of one Cassie knew that he was still in LOVE with Hannah and knew that their relationship was going to end eventually. Which I agree on because he acted all shocked about getting caught kissing Hannah.

Then on top of that he fought Dylan over Cassie for nothing when he still was in love with Hannah. If he really wanted Cassie he would’ve traded with Dylan when they had picked names out of the bucked during class. But Cassandra learned the truth behind the name picking.

Elijah didn’t want to trade Dylan he wanted to stay partners with Hannah. Whereas his best friend ended up partners with Cassandra. Like everyone else, I too thought that Dylan was a good match for her. She and Elijah wasn’t fit for one another. Because in the back of Cassie mind, Elijah would’ve always had feelings for Hannah and wanted to be with her.

Heck I figured that the before Cassie even mentioned it and even the proof where Dylan told Cassie when he learned his true feelings for her. Was when she was sitting on Elijah car, staring at Elijah watching Hannah in a bindi and being around Hannah and her friends all day. It was Dylan who went and kept her company until Elijah finally figured out who his actual girlfriend was.

In the end I was glad that Elijah came to his senses after Cassie told him off to where he learned the truth of what she felt and where his feelings was at. Plus he got the stick out of his behind when he learned that his best friend was moving away, that definitely did it for him. Because he knew he didn’t want to lose his best friend.

I was glad all of three of them work things out with each other and stayed friends, especially Dylan and Elijah! Dylan and Cassie ended up getting back together, and Dylan also got his friends back.

Though, I still say that they weren’t really his friends I mean NOT one was a TRUE friend, they all sided with Elijah over Dylan which was wack in my opinion.

They felt like just cause Elijah cheated they will take his side over Dylan who ended up being there for the ONE girl that Elijah hurt the most!

Review: Hate You

Hate You Hate You by Tracy Lorraine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spoilers... not to many but there’s some splash around in this review.

•*** I received this ARC for a honest review**** HATE YOU comes out April 23rd.....***

Okay when I first saw this book in my Kindle app. I was like huh? Where this ARC comes from! Then I realize I some how requested a ARC. For this book, which I added to my story on IG so that I can read it when it comes out.

I was glad I got a chance to read it. The story was actually good. Though I didn’t understand some London words, it kept me at the edge of my sit.

I liked Zack and even Tabitha. Zack was mean to her some times but you could tell he had a thing for her. Because it didn’t matter what she did, he was always irritated by her. Like every one knew well his friends and even Lana knew that he had a thing for Tabby Cat. I was glad that he actually came to his senses and understood his feelings. Because he kept treating her so wrong and pushing her away. And when he needed her that’s when he run to her.

But in the end, it work all out! Which I was glad.

P.S. Also that ending out me excited because I knew that Titch and Dannie was going to have a story and that is ONE story I cannot freaking wait to READ. Even Tabitha knew something was going on there. Hell Titch even knew what he was doing

Review: The Wrong Prom Date

The Wrong Prom Date The Wrong Prom Date by Alexandra Moody
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Really good!!!

^*Spoilers? Maybe a possiblity!!

I was excited to read this book, I actually couldn’t wait to read it actually. Because I wanted to see what happened when it came to Hayley and Ethan. I also was wondering why Teagen wasn’t brought up in this book a lot the way Hayley was brought up in the other two books. Heck even Evan wasn’t brought up that much in Hayley book either.

Other than that it was good. Kept me wanting to read more. I was glad that Hayley didn’t fall for Owen bull-crap, and finally figured out what type of person he was. I mean everybody was telling her how Owen was and she finally saw his TRUE colors. & realize how amazing Ethan was, after she fell for him. Though she was clearly blinded by who Ethan liked. I mean his best friend Isla was giving her so many clues as to who Ethan liked but clearly Hayley couldn’t figure it out. Even after they broken up (fake relationship) she still thought Ethan liked some other girl (Laurie) and only time she knew he like her was when they were on the way to prom and he had candles lit. But he had to actually tell her who the girl was.

Which was her. Smh! I was glad she figure it out and actually understood which brother she needed to be with. But what I wanted to happen was him telling her who that poem was written about in seventh grade.

Review: A Secret for a Secret

A Secret for a Secret A Secret for a Secret by Helena Hunting
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***Spoilers.... splash throughout**

I was giving this book as an ARC for an honest review. “A Secret for a Secret” comes out May 15th.

I am going to state this I was VERY excited to actually get the chance to read this book earlier. I wasn’t disappointed at all either. This book hold my attention from beginning to end. I felt like Queenie was good for King. Because Jessica was not it for him at all. When he was mentioned a few times in Stevie and Bishop book I kept thinking that maybe Jessica cheated or had a baby or family or something.

But comes to find out King sister Hanna was actually his mother. & his mother was actually his grandmother. I didn’t think that whatever Queenie went through wasn’t as bad as what he went through.

Only thing was bad was learning she married that sorry a-turd Corey at eighteen. & learning that Corey dumb self didn’t pay that fine for their divorce to be finalize. What a waste that was, especially when he kept putting her down, I see why she kept running away from her problems. But what I was about was the fact that she didn’t run away from her problems when it came to King. At least she tired to fix whatever needed to be fixed. But she definitely kept a lot of secrets from King and other people. It was interesting that King trusted her. But I was glad that they didn’t let anyone or anything mess up their relationship. Because they had a lot of drama in their relationship especially Queenie.

P.S. I don’t know but I feel like there’s should be or going to be a book about Corey Slater, Queenie ex-douche bag husband. & some girl, the girl I am thinking is King ex Jessica
