Review: Hot Roommate Blues

Hot Roommate Blues Hot Roommate Blues by Parker Avrile
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

***Spoilers here and there***

I’m a start off and say this wasn’t like the bully romance books I’ve read before. It seem a bit different plus. I didn’t understand this book being a “academy” book like I was confused about that.

Plus they didn’t really smash at all lol. Only thing I read was kissing, sucking D’s and sometimes fingers lmao. I’ve read MM ROMANCE before like I said this was different type of romance to bully among other things. I also want know what the mafia comes in at besides Kingsley aka Kyle step - foster dad...

Plus it sucks that he couldn’t tell Stryker about who he really is heck I even want to know who he really is myself. That’s why I can’t wait until I read book two because I want to know what they going to find on Stryker dad and how Stryker going to react to finding out Kingsley real name among other things.

Review: Curvy Girls Can't Date Best Friends

Curvy Girls Can't Date Best Friends Curvy Girls Can't Date Best Friends by Kelsie Stelting
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

****Spoilers splash here and there••

Okay so;;; I don’t know why I had waited to read this story. But when I learned that Cori, Ginger sister was about to get a book. I was like wait hold on I gotta read about the best friends. Who I was waiting on to get together...

To be honest; I never thought they both actually liked each other. I just assume maybe Carson probably liked Callie but didn’t want to mess up their friendship.

Because I think throughout each book, he was giving out signals on how he felt. It also was good to know why Callie was interested in her brother best friend Nick..

It also trip me out when a guy sees another guy goes for the girl that’s when they wants to go for the girl. When in the beginning they should’ve went for the girl in the first place.. instead of waiting for some competition..

Not only that it’s interesting to learn that Callie brother Joe and Carson sister Gemma ended up together because I was wondering about them when it was mentioned about them liking each other or something.

Lastly, I can’t wait to read Cori book I’m so interested. But for the life of me I cannot remember Ryker or whatever his name in Ginger book like I might have to go back or something to figure it out.

Review: His Relationship Fumble

His Relationship Fumble His Relationship Fumble by Lucy McConnell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good

**spoilers splash here and there***

The last two books of the McKnight family. I had a filling it was going to be about Carter and Liam.

It’s also interesting to learn that Heather ended up with Liam. I mean the book with Carter kind of gave that away. But also; I think Liam had always had a thing for Heather. He just didn’t push anything until she became his romance therapist. He got to know her.

But Heather was a bit annoying because she kept assuming things and running away most of the time. When Liam was actually showing her and not showing her he wanted her. He just had a bad way of showing her he wanted to be with her.

I was glad when they figured it out because I was over it. Plus it’s interesting to learn/read that both Liam and Jaxson who are best friends. Ended up with boys and - had Heather and Lottie had babies at the same time. You look At it people going to think they are twins lol.

It would’ve been interesting to learn well no read about those two babies when they got big especially with the same birthday and look like each other.

Review: His Broke Heart Antidote

His Broke Heart Antidote His Broke Heart Antidote by Lucy McConnell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

***spoilers here and there**

No lie I was so waiting for this book. Especially when November came. I think it was November when this book was supposed to come out.

But I had to wait for this book to come out this month in January. But I was glad that it came out and got to read it because I was sooo curious about this book and would Carter find love like his brother Mason did.. & both of his sisters Lottie and Penny did...

That it did; even though it took him some days to get the girl that he wanted. Because Elise had a lot of issues she had to worked through first in order for her to move forward with Carter.

With Carter mom Brenda having a talk with her that did helped a lot too. Because she finally understood that she wanted more with him... and she went to tell Carter. I was happy; because i wanted to see him happy.

Not only that I wanted her happy too. Especially having to deal with some horrible people. I did wanted to know if Grant and Brooke ended up together. I hoped they did because I was rooting for them along with Carter and Elise...

Review: The Nerd & the Quarterback

The Nerd & the Quarterback The Nerd & the Quarterback by M.L. Collins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good read

***Spoilers here and there***

No lie when I first started this book. I was like ugh!!! I can’t; even though I was curious about this book and it’s whole series. I thought it was boring and I couldn’t finish it. so I started on this other book. But after reading the one book I did finished. I went back to this book; it became good. Which I was glad for because I did want to read it. I wasn’t disappointed either.

The thing is when no as I was reading this book. And learning of the goons and why they wanted the playbook. I had a feeling it was Paige the ring leader of targeting Ali. All because she was with Dax. Dax didn’t even want Paige anymore. He said it So many times. But she still didn’t believe him. She did everything in her right to ruin Ali.

But in the end; Paige messed her own self up and lost everything which I thought she deserved all over a guy smh

Review: How To Wife Your Nanny

How To Wife Your Nanny How To Wife Your Nanny by Melinda Minx
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

**spoilers here and there***

To be honest, I wish that I knew that this book was the first one. Because I read the one with Silas first. I’m seeing him as the manwhore that he was smh. But at least I got to read about Noah and Lacey and how they met.

It was way different than his best friend book. But just like his best friend he push the one person he cared about away too. I had a feeling that Noah was going to do something to push Lacey away. But I knew they were going to end up together. Especially since I read the one book with Silas.

But whatevs. At least they ended up fixing things between each other because I could tell that they wanted more between them than just s*x... and Naomi really liked Lacey and wanted her to become a mother too her.

I thought Lacey was the right fit for her too...

+*Spoilers here and there*+

This book wasn’t that long. Though I was curious about this book. No lie I didn’t even know it was a MM romance book lol. Until I actually looked at the book again . But I enjoyed it.

I figure that Nathan was going to give Randall a chance. Because they click time they meet. Even when Randall no I meant even when Nathan found out Randall was gay he didn’t have a problem with it.

I think he knew already, plus Mabel even knew they had a connection...

It was good

***spoilers here and there***!

I’m not going to lie; I was a bit curious about this book. I wanted to read it to see and learn what happened.

I can say this Lawrence and Matthias family are some horrible people. Just ridiculous; I was glad that Matthias was there to help Shawna and Trey out. After Lawrence died two years ago; what gets me is Lawrence parents wanted to take Trey away from Shawna. Kept saying she was unfit etc; because she was a black woman she wasn’t like them. I wanted to slap them myself.

Because for one she wasn’t a unfit mom and she was able to take care of Trey. They tried everything in their right to take Trey away. But I was like do they not realize that regardless he is still half AFRICAN AMERICAN. Smh

Review: Play You

Play You Play You by Tracy Lorraine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was good

**Spoilers splash here and there***

Before I even get into this book, I want to point out that. I want no I can’t wait until Emmie book to come out because I am curious and I did think she may end up with a book too. Can’t wait to read it and hear story.” Hopefully have Theo Cirillo perspective too.

So on with that; the guys from the shop wasn’t hardly mentioned in Dawson story as he was in Zach, Titch’s, and Spike’s book. Whereas they weren’t. I was surprised but I just assume that since his family is in the MC that the other guys wasn’t meant to be put into a bad situation.

But it sucks that Dawson was treated bad when he was younger by Piper but they both were young and she made a mistake that was based on what her father wanted of her. But as they gotten older I guess well we all know Dawson; hold a grudge against her for far to long. I felt like he never forgave her fully for what she did. Even though he continued on loving her. Then learning that she was still alive.

Did something to him. But I felt like he wasn’t going to hurt her the way his dad had brother was planning for her. Because regardless of what he said he loved her and didn’t want to do harm to her. Because once they got back talking and seeing each other. He fell for her again.

Until his brother came and ruin things again for him. I was glad in the end he fixed things with Piper. Not only that got rid of his family. I just was wondering if he still talked to his mom though....

Review: The Ghosts of Crushes Past

The Ghosts of Crushes Past The Ghosts of Crushes Past by Isla Olsen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good read

**spoilers

I thought this story was interesting to read. I liked Evan and Tyler story. I was curious as to what will happened. Especially with reading the description of the book. I thought other guys was going to talk to Tyler.

But that wasn’t the case lol. Because all of Tyler crushes didn’t like him at all. The way that Evan assume, because Pierre wanted Evan, but Tyler lied and said that Evan was taken because he didn’t want anyone to have him. Dante, didn’t want Tyler he only had eyes for Tyler best friend Adrian. And the other guys what’s his name omg I forgot wait it’s Marcus he was a straight guy with a fiancĂ©e lol.

So Evan definitely kept assuming things. Even with Tyler leaving just to go snowboarding. He thought Tyler left him. Smh

Review: Inked

Inked Inked by Tracy Lorraine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

***spoilers here and there***

I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to start this book before I read. Play you... the 4th book to the Rebel Ink book. But I wanted too because some folks from this book may be mentioned in Play you. I wanted to prepared when I read it.

With this book I can say that it was an alright read. I’ll give it a four star at least. Because I was sort of confused in away of how well more so how Harlow life was and what she wasn’t saying what happens with her life. Between losing her parents and sister to becoming a adult. Plus what went on with her life at the age 9 plus age twelve and beyond.

But I liked how both her and Corey balance each other out. Because they helped each other. Plus what he been through was horrible too. To losing his friends in the army. To losing his daughter in the house fire. I was so sad when I read that.

The Perks of Being a Rebel: A Sweet YA Romance The Perks of Being a Rebel: A Sweet YA Romance by Liwen Y. Ho
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Now I understand the title of this book

**spoilers just a few***

So okay; now, it took me awhile to finish this book. I somehow got a bit bored while reading this book...

I had to stop reading it. That’s what lead me to reading a few other books. Now I actually gotten around to reading this book and finishing it.

I’m glad I finally finished this because I wanted to know if Juliet and Jaxon was going to get back together and how they did.

It took Juliet awhile to come around to accepting that Jaxon made mistakes and so did she... to actually figure things out between theme. Especially with both of them having a better understanding now...

Plus I can’t wait for Nolan book to come out. Because I mentioned him before about him having his own book . When I read Seth and his girlfriend book... I believe the author told me that Nolan book will be the last one to this series but I’m not sure. But still can’t wait to read it.

A Marriage of Anything But Convenience A Marriage of Anything But Convenience by Victorine E. Lieske
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It was a good read!!!

***Spoilers thrown here and there***

I been wanted to read this book but it took me awhile to get around to reading it actually. I’m glad I did.... it wasn’t a bad read; it was interesting.

I also understood how Derek felt with Nara not actually showing his true feelings.. but still showed them in some ways. It took Nara awhile to actually see what was going on with Derek and why he said the things he did.

I was glad that she finally understood why he said what he said; and why he didn’t. Both of them was scared to say how they felt about each other.

The whole time; she been liked him too that’s why she called him names. I was glad he also told her how he felt about those name callings.

Plus with Nara dad I felt her on how she felt when it came to him. But she was also not a good daughter too. About how she spoke to him and stuff. She felt some type of way when it came to her dad calling Derek about everything. But she understood that it was herself too that treated him badly too.

What was messed up was that lady took her designs and mad them her own. Had the nerve to tell Nara her designs wasn’t good. But the whole time she was using Nara designs and making money off of it. I was glad that she got everything sorted out and got her stuff back.
