Spoilers... maybe•••
Oh... it sucks that this is the last book to the Rockford series. I for sure was hoping for a book with Jade and Chris. But oh well!!!
With that being said.... when I was reading the story with Amanda and Cody... and the ending where Stephanie found out it was actually Brandon Travers she was bashing online was priceless. I was so ready for this book to come and and when I finally gotten a email about this book being out I was so ready to read it. I even push a few books back that I was planning to read i was like I gotta read this IDC! IDC!
I glad I did because I wasn’t even disappointed at all with this book that’s how good it was.. the only thing I want to say was Stephanie was so quick believe that rumor that Alisha had put out was ridiculous. I could tell that she was blinded by what Kyle did to her that she didn’t see the truth. I mean you could tell how Alisha was when she had called Brandon that day they all went out to eat! But in the end I was glad when Stephanie and everybody else learned the truth behind that video and Stephanie forgave Brandon, she finally got her kiss and vise versa. & not only that they ended up dating!!!!
Oh besides that Brandon was a fool anyways to get into that car with the guy Tony which lead him to being in a accident and almost losing his arm. Though Tony got the worse of it. He probably ends up in jail since Tony was the one who gave Brandon the pills and was going over the driving limit and running from the cops which lead to the car flipping couple times. At least in the end Brandon learned his lesson...

Review: After His Banana
After His Banana by Penelope Bloom
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It was good!!
***Spoilers in this review maybe***
So okay, I didn’t know that the author even written a book about the kids to the Chamberson brothers. I can’t wait to read the story about Bruce daughter and William kids and even the others that was from the Objects of Attraction series... I also hope that Luna gets her own story too.
You could tell that Miles was more like his uncle William than his dad Bruce. I think he had both of there personality too. I also think Ares have Bruce ways

Review: Skating on Thin Ice
Skating on Thin Ice by Jacquie Biggar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It was a good read
***Spoilers... splash here & there**
That’s crazy that the whole time it wasn’t just Mac coach Harris but Sam Uncle Thomas too behind everything that happened in Mac’s life. What they both were planning probably to off both Mac and Sam that’s why Thomas wanted to go up there to the cabin; plus Harris agreeing to go too. He especially hated Mac and vise versa. He said all along he wanted to harm or didn’t like Mac. Thomas (Sam) uncle even stated he’ll killed Mac. If that wasn’t a clue I don’t know what is....
Not only that they had snipers out there trying to kill Mac... heck they already killed his wife and his unborn child (his daughter).... he really had to care about Sam to not let the judge stick it to her family...

Misadventures in the Cage by Sarah Robinson

**Spoilers? There’s a possibility that it will be a lot!!!
I can say I actually liked this one way better than the Firefighter one. I finish this one really fast. I can say like one-two days.
With that being said I would like to point out that I understood both Callan and Josie parts on the breakup. But I didn’t like the fact that Josie thought it was okay for her to up and leave Callan on the day of the fight between her brother (Xavier) and Callan. But when he does it (well technically; he didn’t want to break up only wanted to do long distance even though he didn’t want to). It was her pushing him (Callan) away again. Like this was so normal for her when it came to him. She blamed him the second time around, for getting Michelle pregnant. Like it was ridiculous because for one she left him when he didn’t want her too. & plus Josie knew that Michelle and Callan wasn’t in a serious relationship. It was only but there careers.
Plus you could tell Callan didn’t want no Michelle she wasn’t right for him. Especially how she reacted to certain things. Though; she wanted something more with him. I was glad when Josie came to her senses and realize when she got that offer for a television show in California that she made mistakes. With running away from her feelings and not telling Callan how she felt about him. When the whole time he prove to her how he felt about her. Even when he had to stay in California when he learned about Michelle being pregnant by him. Clearly you could tell that he got her pregnant during the time both he and Michelle was drunk. A lot of times that happens to people (in real life I know to people in my family that happened to

Review: Dating the Quarterback
Dating the Quarterback by Maggie Dallen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Spoilers? Yes? Maybe? Who knows it a possibility of it!!!
I will say this when u was reading book 1... I was soooo ready to read book 2.. but after I started reading book 2. I was like ehhh.... it’s okay... I can say this book 1 was actually good and better in my opinion.
I can’t really pinpoint what I feel about Harley. Because she was kind of a complainer; annoying; a little whinny. I mean Both Tristan and Conner actually told her something that she needed to hear. Since I thought she was better. No the more popular people was some what better or have life better.
Which she didn’t realize since Tristan was actually going through something even though he was popular. Even Rosalie, Harley realize Tristan liked her after he didn’t want anything to do with her.. once he stop coming around. I said to myself it took her long enough to stop being whiny and complaining about what some person who didn’t deserve her at her old school done to her.
I think if she was at her old school yeah she definitely should’ve been more cautious of what someone wanted from her. But you could tell Tristan cared about her since everything that he done for her that showed her he wanted and cared about her..
In the end I was glad they made and she figured out what she wanted. Not only her Tristan realize that he could also have love and live his life. Without having so much on his shoulders.

Charming the Cheerleader by Maggie Dallen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
**Spoilers?.... not so much!!!
https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2020...
Okay, so this book was good. More so wanted to read this book. But wanted to read book two more. With his (Conner) stepsister Harley...
With that being said. I wasn’t disappointed when I was reading this book. I already knew it was going to be good. & also thought it took the right person to understand Rosalie and why she seems like the ice queen. Being say makes people think your something you not. Plus her ex Danny was horrible anyways for spreading rumors about her being an ice queen etc...
At least Conner got to know her and understood that she had felt like everyone else. But I think he comes into that school was hilarious because you look at it he didn’t care what people thought of him even when he wanted to become popular again and be known with the ladies etc...
But I liked how he came to realize that is what he used to be in his old school wasn’t all that it was. Plus, both he and Rosalie help each other out. I also agreed with his stepsister about how he could become a chef and go into culinary arts... especially since he enjoyed cooking and not only that music.
Also, I was glad he didn’t let that bet (challenge) on for too long, and Rosalie accepted her feelings for him and understood that Conner cared for and understood her unlike Danny ever did...

**There Spoilers but•• not many just a few••^*
Am I going to read the other books to this series? I don't know... I don't think I will. Though this... even though the book was had my attention from being to end.
I think Luke could've been bisexual but didn't know it until he had to pretend to FAKE date, Ryan... I mean, he didn't say much when he and his baseball friends were joking around about "he and Zach" being gay... after learning that Zach was gay himself. It's interesting to learn why he didn't say anything to the other guys when they said that he was...
Maybe Zach knew deep down his best friend Luke was more likely bisexual too. & Luke didn't realize until he got to be around Ryan. Plus; Luke kept going for Lydia but deep down she didn't like him back nor was she attracted to guys... later on in the book she mentioned something about "her may not be attracted to them" and Luke learning that he had feelings for Ryan after the fact that he learned that Zach was gay **bisexual** himself. & asked Ryan to sit with them at lunch...
Everyone saw how jealous Luke was when it came to Ryan. The only one who didn't see it was Luke. Until it was too late... after they (He & Ryan) fake broken up. Though both their feelings for each other were real. More than Luke realize... though Ryan knew he had feelings that ran deep.
Those football players and some of the baseball players (more so Mate or whatever that baseball player) name was on Luke's team. Hated guys, people. The way they talked to them, especially Ryan, was horrible. You also learn who liked you once they learn you are "gay" or "bisexual".....
Plus, I didn't see how Luke couldn't see Lydia had a thing for Alicia.. since they kissed that once time... when they helped Ryan out... but in the end, at least he learned his real main friends were gay. Except for Joey? Whatever his name was, lol!

Review: Rock Bottom:
Rock Bottom: by Emily Goodwin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Plenty of spoilers will more likely be in this review.
https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2020...
This book was given to me as an ARC; for an honest review. Not only that, it comes out tomorrow (hence; Feb 17th)!!!!!!!
So okay! I couldn’t wait to read this book. And learn who Dean will end up with even though Rory's name was mentioned in the description. Lord knows I couldn’t stand Kara... & me and probably all of Emily Goodwin fans... 🤣🤣🤣...
When I first started this book, I was like yup that heifer done cheated on Dean before he even got to his house I knew. Ugh! Couldn’t stand her more after that, especially when she popped up randomly at his new house. Thinking she was getting him back and had the nerve to ruin things for Dean, I was glad that he went and got his woman back and ran Kara *** up out of his house while he was at it... the nerve of her try to put that pregnancy on him. In my head, I was girl you know that baby ain’t his... y’all been broken up. I was glad he told her that too.
Because in the end, Elory? I think it is her real name was the one for him... she got along with everyone in his family.. especially his sister, unlike Kara bitter self... plus both their (Dean and Rory) families were similar to each other... even had the group chat thing going on lol!!!! I was just glad that Dean stops playing games with Rory and turning away from his feeling for her, too... it took for crap pot “Kara” to pop up to tell him she wants him back. For him to realize his true feelings and admit them FINALLY ... to Rory, at least he got what he wanted, in the end, a family. Which he couldn’t get with the trash ex-wife of his... I’m js...
Oh btw;::::::: ugh I saw that Robby popped up in this book. I still wish that he had his own book and find love too. I am glad to learn that he getting himself together and getting along and being with his family again... plus maybe Hillary might be the one for him 🤣 idk!! I just want a book with him, but there’s no other Dawson!! Bleh oh well!!!

Review: Misadventures with a Firefighter
Misadventures with a Firefighter by Julie Morgan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
***Spoilers...Not that many but a few***
https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2020...
Okay. At the beginning of this book, it was ehhhh — kind of dry. After I kept reading, I wanted to know what else happens. Still, I was stuck in between what I felt for this book. This is why I gave it a four-star instead of a five like I do, mostly my books. With that being said...
I already knew that Erin was going to snitch when Noah kept coming to the school even when he volunteered in the class with Cara and his son... I mean, you look at it. They gave themselves away with how they were touching and making side-eyes. But they never touch when the kids were around... as Erin made it seem. But in the end; she was just jealous of Cara and what she had... her true colors came about when Cara started dating one of her students (Marshall) dad (Noah)... she wanted Cara position, but she didn't even get it.... she did what she thought Cara did to get the job that she had (**cough*** come on the principal)... what she (Erin) got was a kick out the door for doing what she thought Cara did. Karma got her good because she knew she was wrong for spreading lies...
I also thought it was crazy to have those rules of a teacher can't date students' parents. When in reality, Cara and Noah were talking way before he/she found out that she (Cara) was his (Marshall) teacher, and he was his father (Noah). In the end, I was glad that Cara got her job back, and she came to her senses about how she wanted to be with Noah regardless of what happened with her job!!!!!

I was glad that he figured things out for himself; and realize that he shouldn’t walk away from school, family (adopter), Audrey, etc. talking with his dad after Audrey left helped him figured things out!!
Also, I was glad that Audrey talked to her dad... about how she felt not only that she talks to her mom too. What I often realize times children/teens etch; who grow up with married parents; the parents get divorced. They end up upset and then take up everything to make either parent happy! ***Just a few spoilers**
Before I get started on this review, I want to say that. I did want a book with Sloan and Amanda. But learn from the author that they wouldn’t get a book. I wanted one because; I wanted to see if they were going to get together. I see in this book that Sloan and Amanda ended up in a relationship. I figured that and glad... because I saw how interested they were into each other at that party in the book with Nick and Lexi “Hard to Love.”
With that being said...... I liked how finally El for the guy that she had a thing for. She was such nervous around the guy. That I had to laugh when she spilled that drink on that poor boy (Rohan), at least he didn’t hate her for it; laugh it off as a joke when he saw her again (in school)...
His stepmom I wanted his dad to break up with her because she was just horrible... to El... didn’t want Rohan with El at all. Rohan didn’t want to be with his cheating ex Nisha. Who thought he was going to take her back. I was like really think he’s going to take her back after she cheated on him with one of his friends.
I was glad that he wanted something with El. Even though he’s stepmom with that horrible name.. he didn’t like Elana or want him to be with her. She wanted him back with his ex Nisha. I was glad he made the decision to be with El and told his stepmom how he felt and to butt out of his business. Not only that, I was glad to learn that his dad was on his side. & also Rohan decided to stay in the USA to be with Elena...

How you fall in love in 10 days!!!!

***splash spoilers all through this review***
I enjoy this book. I realize that this book is new. I was glad I liked it and can't wait for the next book to come out with Ava (Hannah) best friend and her (Hannah) brother Liam. I agreed with Seth at the end because she knew something might be going on between Ava and Liam. & Hannah denied it... I can't wait until she sees that Seth was right & I hope she'll be happy for both her best friend and brother.
Not only that, I liked how she (Hannah) and Ava befriended Seth... unlike everyone else. Besides Nolan..., I did wonder if he and Seth ever talk again. Because I felt regardless of him learning who Seth'sSeth's family was. If he were a REAL friend, he would've heard Seth out.
You could tell Seth got embarrassed about a lot of things and didn't like all the attention! Before everyone knew he was related to the founders of the school and afterwards. At least Ava, Liam, and Hannah. Continue being friends with him regardless of who he was related too. Because everyone else only talked to him and ask about his family. They didn't want to get to know him as Ava & Hannah did. Even Liam knew that Seth was a good person, even though in the beginning, he assumed that Seth wasn't Hannah type, and he didn't socialize with the likes of their kind since he was related to famous people.
But in the end, I believe Liam figured out that Seth wasn't a bad person. Since he realizes after what happened at the mall. Seth push away from Hannah! What also sucked was when her (Hannah) ex-boyfriend tried to use her to get into Hollywood because she new the nephew of the Sparks... I was glad when she told him off and found Seth waiting for her at the entrance...
Btw: I felt like Nolan needs a story too. I don't know why! If not, it's still cool without one for him. But after swiping left a couple times. I was glad to learn that Nolan "will show up in all of the Edenvale Arts High School books and will have his own story in book #5."
Not only that, I was glad that Seth got to talk with DNA dad Richard like he stated in the book. I was glad that he got closure. I believe all children/adults/teenagers need closure when they have a dead beat for a mom or dad!!!

Review: Road Trip with a Nerd: A Sweet Young Adult Novella
Road Trip with a Nerd: A Sweet Young Adult Novella by Stephanie Street
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I don’t think Grant was really a nerd! He was just smart and into developing
https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2020...
***Spoilers... but not that many**
I think that Mallory needed that road trip to learn how to remove herself from toxic people. She also got to learn not to be spoiled and what’s the other word. I can’t think of it. But she learned not to be judgemental towards Grant since he had an old “farm truck” as she stated.
I think that made her a better person, but not only that, she got to know Grant. He also got the girl of his dreams. His crush! I was glad when Mallory figured out she didn’t need Trent to wait what that fool name that cheated on her with her ex-best friend Livvy... hmmm was? 🤔... heck, I can’t even remember. Don’t care to... 🤣... because he wasn’t good for her anyways.... and didn’t deserve her love... sense he wanted Livvy since he and Mallory been dating and Livvy wanted him way before Mallory dated him...
At least she ended up with Grant! He even listens to her, whereas her ex-boyfriend didn’t. Also, I was glad that his family accepted what he wanted and even her parents. I think a developer is a good job!!!!!

Review: The Square Root of Falling: A Sweet YA Romance
The Square Root of Falling: A Sweet YA Romance by Amy Sparling
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Based on love in the math class!
https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2020...
**spoilers*** but not too many'!!
Okay, I liked this book. It was good! I know I am not going to write a long review since I got distracted before I even decided to do this with you because I was finished.
With that being said... it's funny how everyone treated Jake like a popular guy and someone special just because of his looks. & all he wanted was a girl who liked the person that he was on the inside and outside. He found that in Jules. Since he never had a girlfriend, which he admitted to Jules when that tornado warning happened when they were in school in the counselor's office.
I also had to laugh at the fact. Well, more so raise my eyebrow at how they both wanted to switch out of their math class because they couldn't take being around each other. But at least they both figured things out in the end and got together officially since they both liked each other.
